Hair Cut!

So I wanna get my hair cut. I don't know when I'll actually get to have it done, but I figure I better start deciding now. So I'm going to list pictures of me with different hairstyles I've had. and I want you to tell me what you like best or if you have suggestions of what you think would look good. I'm open to both short and long hair. I actually kinda wanna grow it long (and by long I mean close to my butt long) but I don't really know any long hairstyles. I mean my hair has been down to my butt before but it didn't really have a style because I got my hair cut like once a year. lol Oh and I don't know if the shorter will work as well because my face is chubbier now than it is in the pics where I have short hair.

So ready? Ok here are some pics for you to judge the length (I'll try and go in chronological order for you):

Senior year of high school (2007) and yes I really did have all these lengths:
Beginning of Senior year. Day I cut my hair from long to short. And the day I took senior pics. haha! (about October)
Same day as above, after I cut my hair. Also one of my senior pics.
I'm the tall one. This is my High school graduation obviously. lol
Ok now we're onto college:
I think this was Feb. 08
Shortly after Feb. 08 pic above.

Sept. 08 (I kept it short for a while before I let it grow this length)

Most recent pics of hair styles are:
March 2010 Shortly after I had Robert.
Took this one today:
Don't mind how craptastic I look. I just got out of the shower.
Anyway so that's the majority of my hairstyles. I also wear my hair up a lot cuz I'm lazy and I like it up. And I like braids and such. So any suggestions? Anyone at all? lol

Thanks : )

Sewing Machine!

I FINALLY HAVE A SEWING MACHINE!!!! Wohoo!!!

I'm excited. I've wanted one for a while. I'm not an expert seamstress obviously but I've sewn before and I'd really like to get better at it. I'm so excited to start. Now all I need are ideas of what to do. I do need to make curtains for our windows. I could do that. I also need some sewing supplies now but will probably have to hold off on getting most of them. Why does everything have to cost money! GRRRR!!! lol

Anyway I'll just make do with what I have : D But at least I've finally started.

P.S. I know I'm super behind in posting so I guess I'll just start over because I don't even know where I would try and begin catching up. Not as if anyone reads this anyway. *crickets chirping*

My Dog Bear

My parents had to put my dog Bear to sleep today. I've had him since I was 13 I am now 21. He was almost 2 when we got him. I loved that dog. I know most of my brothers and sisters hated him, but he was my dog. The older he got the blinder he became and the grumpier he got the more everyone hated him. But I loved him and my dad loved him and my mom loved him. We are all sad today. I'm very sad. He had hip/leg problems and they came back hard the past few days. And he was old. So they put him to sleep so he wouldn't keep suffering.

I keep randomly crying. I'm doing a thing called feel great in eight. And I'm not feeling great today. I probably won't get any points today. It's a bad day. A day of chocolate and fatty foods. So the little bit that I have lost this past week I'll probably gain back. But that's ok I need comfort food. Well that's all I guess. Today just isn't a good day.

I love you Bear! I miss you! You were my dog and my friend. Rest in Peace and maybe I'll see you again someday in Heaven.

Me and Bear 2002
Bear after a bath. We put up his ears so they wouldn't get gross licking the plate. And yes I realize this picture is semi creepy. lol I LOVE YOU BEAR!!

The Magic of a Clothes Line and a Back Yard

So we don't have a dryer but we have a wonderful clothes line:

I love hanging up the clothes. It's so relaxing and it's good for thinking. Just thinking about lots of things. I love it. I do wish I had more time to do it tho. Robert doesn't let me do it as often as I would like, but that's ok the laundry still gets done.

It also helps that we have an awesome back yard with an amazing tree to go with it. I love it back there. It's pretty and big and beautiful.
Our Awesome Tree! : )
Robert likes playing out there while I hang laundry too. We really should go outside more often but the past week he hasn't want to be put down. And now that he's happy enough to want to play the weather has been rainy and chilly.  Anyway he likes sitting and playing in his play thingy while I do the laundry.

Anyway I love our house and clothes line and back yard! LOVE THEM!!

Two Teeth

Robert has two little teefers now. He just cut his 2nd one all the way last night! YAY!!!! He didn't do as well with the second one. He was a lot more grumpy and I didn't get anything done most of the week. Needless to say I slept VERY well last night!! Woot!!! : )

Hopefully it's a little bit til he gets anymore. Some how I get the feeling we'll have more little bundles of fun trying to cut through any day now.

On to Oatmeal!!

Ok so now we're on oatmeal for Robert. He really likes it! He's such a cutie! Here are some cute videos : )

Beef! It's what's for dinner.

Yep you guessed it. Robert's started beef (pureed) the end of last week. His faces were AWESOME!! Luckily I caught them on camera. :D He's warming up to it. He likes it better when it's a little warmer. Anyway here's a hilarious video of him : )

And I just like this pic. Don't you just love his blue eyes!?!

It's Always Fun . . . .

When Tauna comes to visit!!!!!

We just love Tauna. She is awesome. For those of you who were at Baumgardner's she is my friend that was there. She's always looking out for us. She was so excited for us to be moved into our house. She brought us a bunch of stuff she collected to put in our house. Basically she's the BeezNeez. This time she also made us a yummy, yummy, YUMMY, parmesan chicken with noodles and Caesar salad. She HATES cooking but for some reason she got really excited and wanted to cook this. So she did and it was FABULOUS!!!!

This time she brought her dog Kota. Robert loves him. And we love him. He's such a good dog. He's a cute Corgi. I wish we had a dog, but we can't afford to have one at the moment. I'm hoping very soon tho. Anyway here are some pics and a video of Robert and Kota. : D
Aw how cute is that!?! I can't wait till we have our own.

The Relief Society Presidency

So the Relief Society presidency came to see me today. (The Relief Society is the group for the women in the LDS church) They always go and visit/introduce/get to know the new sisters (that's what we call each other) in the ward. Anyway, they were awesome! I had a really good time talking to the four of them. I'm really excited about getting to know more of the ladies now. I guess they have a volleyball group that gets together and plays every Tuesday at 9:00am. I LOVE volleyball it is my favorite sport. I haven't got to play for a really long time ago. I think the last time I played was like 2 years ago : ( boo. Anyway they were so awesome. I'm so excited to be in this ward. I already feel so at home here. : ) YAY! Anyway that's all I just wanted to share I guess.

Squash!

So today we tried squash for the first time. He LOVED it. I have the feeling he's gonna be more like mommy and LOVE veggies. Yay!!! Anyway here's a cute video of him eating.

Crawling!

That's right folks he's crawling. He looks a little uncoordinated but give him a break he's only been doing it for a matter of a few days maybe a little longer. And I FINALLY got a good video of him doing it. Usually I turn the camera on and he's like a deer in the headlights. This time I didn't let him know what I was doing and he crawled good! : ) w00t!! : D Anyway here's the video. I thought of including more but I don't feel like dealing with the video uploader today. lol

Oh and he has discovered the kitchen/dining room. It's such an exciting new place! The living room will just not do anymore.  Except he's not really sure what to make of the flooring in there. ha ha!

It's Been Awhile

Well it's been awhile since I last posted. I'm sure you all missed me! All the crickets out there chirping that is *wink wink*

Anyway I guess this post is just to say. I'm still alive. Not much has been going on. Robert has been quite the busy fellow tho. Robert has just got his first tooth! It's broke through the skin (I would know it's a sharp little buggar!) But it still has to push up and show itself all the way. I'd get a pic but Robert is anti-showing off his gums, he plays with everything with his tongue. Surprisingly or not so surprisingly he wasn't too bad while it was coming in. He did a lot of the closed mouth hum/whine thing. He just wasn't himself and I guess and had a little bit of a harder time sleeping. Nothing getting in bed with mom and sleep nursing wouldn't fix tho. I was tired but he was fine, he sleeps great like that but I don't. I like my sleeping space! : ) Also Robert has started crawling!!! It's very tentative and it seems the more he thinks about it the more mad and unable to move he becomes. It's when we're not expecting it that he's all the way across the room. But he's getting better and better everyday. I'll make a post about it once I get a good video. I was gonna get one today but the camera battery was low and it wouldn't let me. Sigh. Maybe tomorrow.

I've been good. I haven't even thought about Facebook at all really. The only thing I have thought about on there are the group of ladies that I was friends with that I don't get to talk with very often now. I hope they're all doing well. A new thing for me that has happened is that I have taken over doing the family newsletter from my sister, she's too busy and is burnt out, so I took it over for her. It's been fun so far and the first newsletter I'm doing is being sent to my family on September 1st. I'm excited, it's gonna be a summer edition. Then we'll have one each month. It's hard to get everyone to send in their news tho. I'm sure I've driven them crazy with all my email reminders to them. Oh well I'm sure I'll get everyone to send in their news eventually. Until then I'll have fun with what I have sent in. I haven't made any friends yet here. Although I have met a few people in the ward that I could hang out with. I just have to find a chance to talk to them sometime. This last Sunday we kinda left pretty fast after church got over so I didn't get to speak to anyone. Well there was one lady I talked to in the mother's lounge while I was feeding Robert, but she was just visiting family so I guess I won't be seeing her. Hopefully next week will be better. We won't have the combined meeting with the men for the 3rd hour so I'll have a better chance to talk to some of the women during Relief Society.

I also realized that I am writing in a journal. It's just not how I would usually do it. It's here in my blog, instead of a paper journal. I think that's why I love blogging so much, because it is a journal for me. I haven't written in my journal regularly for a long time and I miss it. I just don't seem to have the time to write everyday. I write so slow and usually write pretty lengthy entries and I just don't have the time for that. Well I suppose I do but this is so much easier and prettier than my handwriting. Plus my journal is still packed away somewhere in a box that I need to unpack. Speaking of unpacking I finally am starting to feel ready to unpack all the way. I haven't been able to decorate (not that I have anything to really decorate with) and make it feel like home because I've been getting used to it and it has only recently begun to feel real and permanent not temporary. We finally got blinds for the sliding door to the back yard! Wohoo! Windows at night freak me out usually so it's nice to have something there I forgot to close them tonight tho. Oh well, I guess I should do that then. Well that's about it for now I think. See you tomorrow hopefully with more on the crawling and tooth.

Peaches!

So it has been 4 days or so since we started carrots and we've had no problems. New kind of poop compared to what we're used too, but hey that's what real food will do to ya! lol Anyway so we decided to try another food! PEACHES!!! Yay for more options! Hopefully all goes well with the new food. He wasn't sure if he liked them or not. I'll probably try them again later today. He'd already had some carrots when I tried it. Here's some pics. Got a couple good ones and that's about it.

He looks so weird because the flash was bright.

Looking at the jar
Om nom nom nom!
No more Mom!!
Sadly we didn't get any all over the face messy ones we didn't get that far today. Maybe we'll have some later!

Our New Ward

So today we went to our new ward for the first time (our congregation for church). It was great. There is only one ward in Hansen. Before we went I was wondering if the ward would be small or big (since there is only one). I was hoping it would be small. I like small. I LOVE small. At least when it comes to people. The song "Little Bitty" by Alan Jackson pretty much describes what I like. Except I like a big yard. But I love little towns and little wards and that kinda thing.

So what size is our ward? SMALL!!! : ) I was very excited about this. It's probably the same size as 3rd Ward in Mountain Home or close to it. I'm excited. I function much better in smaller groups. Everyone was very friendly. We feel at home there. And guess what?! I see quite a few ladies that could be potential friends!! How exciting. Let's just hope I keep up the courage to step out and make friends with them. I'm excited. Relief Society was great. And I actually got to stay in all of it! Woot!!!! Well that's it for now : )

Oh how about a song : ) It's "Little Bitty" by Alan Jackson. I just had to do it after talking about it : )

Little Bitty

Sorry I couldn't figure out how to put the video on here so you just have to click the link if you wanna see it!   : D

CARROTS!!!

So we have started solids. I'm kinda sad I can't just start giving him all sorts of different flavored baby food. But alas, I must wait the allotted 3-4 days so I can know if he has allergy to anything. We already know he loves rice cereal which I tried to show off with an ultra cute video but it didn't feel like loading so you're all just out of luck! So the first food we are doing is carrots! Here is a sample :-) I'm pretty sure he likes them. Oh and it sure makes his poop really interesting compared to just mommy's milk (or cream as some of you like to say)!!

He's looking at the jar thinking, "give me that now!!"
Mommy you and your spoon are silly!
Om nom nom nom! *burp*
I can't wait for what we can try next!

6 MONTHS!!!!

Well I'm a week late but my little man turned six months on the 14th of August!! I can't believe that it has gone by so fast. It seems like I just found out I'm pregnant but that was over a year ago! Where does the time go?! It has flown by soooooooooooo quickly. Here's a quick recap!

February:
This was taken the day he was born.
March:
This is 1 month old
April:
2 months. He's such a cutie!
May:
3 months, I love his faces :D
June:
4 months, And just what do you think you're doing mom!
July:
5 months, Slowly starting to sit up. . . kinda!
August:
6 months, I've gotten so big!!!

Robert is such a little character! He has such a personality. I can't wait to see what kind of person he will become. I already know he'll be a flirt stud muffin! lol He totally flirts with all the girls who come and talk to him it's so cute! He is rolling like crazy and he's trying to crawl. He's in the gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth stage to figure out how to move his legs and arms. He also loves doing push-ups on his hands and tippy-toes and yelling the whole time. He loves to scoot around and get into everything. I've caught him every night this week trying to escape his towel after bath time when he's waiting for me to get him some pajamas. He's succeeded pretty much every time. I've got some cute pictures of him mid escape. He's starting to be more snuggle bunny when I pick him up, especially right after a nap or when he's tired. He puts his little head in the crook of my neck and wraps his arms around me real tight. It's so cute and makes me feel like everything we will ever have to go through is all worth it just for those little moments.

He's trying!
Now where does this leg go?

And UP! 2, 3, 4!
I am escaping and free!!! You shall never catch me!!! BwaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!

Ok the moment you've all really been waiting for in reading this! His 6 month apt and stats! Well I'm sure you all could care less about the apt and just want the stats! Too bad, you're hearing about the apt anyway! Well His apt went awesome. The doctor is very pleased with his growth and health. She says he's perfect! So after that he got his shots. . . DUN DUN DUN!!! Poor guy she stuck that first needle in and I've never seen him cry so hard in his short little life :-( He didn't even breath for a long time, and no puff of air in the face did any good either. I felt so bad for him, it broke my heart. After the nurse was done giving him the shots she warned us that he might be a pass out crier. You know the kind of crying where they cry so hard and don't breath and then pass out. Yeah she said it would scare the life out of us but that he would be ok. I hope that never happens! He's such a happy boy tho, I have a hard time seeing it happen. That's the only time I've seen him cry that hard. I am glad she warned us tho so I don't freak out as much if it does happen.

Ok here they are for reals!! The stats!!!

Height: 28 inches! Well he certainly didn't get his height from his parents! lol

Weight: 19lbs 13oz! He did however get the weight from his momma! ;-)

And I'm not sure of the head circumference but it was in the 25th percentile which is where he's been the whole time so that's good :-)

Well that's it for this post stay tune for CARROTS!!!!
